Increase Your Site SEO With Chrome Extension

Ever since Google has allowed Chrome Extensions, a number of interesting SEO tools have been popping up. These are now beginning to rival some of the toolbars and add-ons available for Firefox, so I thought it would be a good time to share my three favourite Chrome SEO plugins.

1. Chrome SEO

Chrome SEO is an extremely powerful extension that puts a huge amount of SEO information right at your fingertips. Its current features include,

• Keyword Research Tool (Alpha Version)
• Highlighting NoFollow links
• The number of Pages Indexed
• The number of Backlinks
• Current Traffic and Rankings
• Social Bookmark counts
• Cached Versions of the page
• Domain Details like DNS, IP, Whois, Server Location

The tool appears as a button in the navigation bar of Chrome and simply displays over the top of the page you're pulling stats for. A screenshot is below:

2. SEO Site Tools

Similar to Chrome SEO, this tool puts a wealth of SEO statistics at your fingertips but also goes a step further by providing some additional features including,

• Displays Meta tag information
• Provides HTML/CSS Validation
• Anchor tags and follow attributes
• Bold/Strong Tags
• Map of server information
• Suggestions - A basic site analysis covering areas like Title tags, Link Quantity, image tags, page speed etc.
